Privacy rules of the mobile application

Nutb is committed to create products and services preserving your privacy and the security of your informations. We make our best to only collect what is essential to provide or to improve the requested services. Those collected datas are as anonymous as necessary and we do not use them for anything else than providing and improving services.
 
This Privacy Policy is applicable to all interactions you have with Blindsee mobile application.

What we collect and what we do with that

Informations you enter yourself :

 
  • Account informations :
 

When an administrator account is assigned to you, you enter an email address and a password to log in to your administration interface. This email address is stored on our server as well as on your mobile device (by default). You have the option to disable the storage of it on your mobile device, but the trade-off will be having to re-enter your email every time authenticated action is required.

As for the password, it is stored in the form of a hash on our server to validate your connection requests.

 
On the mobile device, to maintain the persistence of your authenticated connection, we use a session cookie (unique session identifier) during your active phase of the current session.
 
On the server side, the hash of your password, along with your email address, is stored in the administrators’ database. We only use this information to identify you as a user and to assign the rights to which you have subscribed.
 

Your email address is also associated with the history of the content you have produced.

  • Preferences :
 
All your customizable preferences and settings in the application are stored on your mobile device to allow you to maintain a user experience tailored to your expectations. This information is neither transmitted to the server nor to any other mobile devices you may have.
 

Data collected by the mobile application (telemetry) :

 
1 – At each launch of the application :
  • device : The product code of your mobile device
  • version : The version of Blindsee that you are using
 
2 – At each selection of a circuit :
  • circuit : The circuit that you have selected
  • site : The name of the site/location where you are

3 – At each scan of a Bluetooth beacon :

Occurs only if you are located on a site.

  • rssi : The signal reception level of the beacon
  • avg : The average signal level of the beacon
  • site : The name of the site/location where you are

4 – At each request for detection :

Occurs only if you are located on a site.

  • site : The name of the site/location where you are

5 – At each request for content reading :

Occurs only if you are located on a site.

  • site : The name of the site/location where you are
  • thing : The reference of the consulted object
  • elapsed : The elapsed time since the previous reading
 

6 – At each exit from the reading screen :

Occurs only if you are located on a site.

  • site : The name of the site/location where you are
  • thing : The reference of the consulted object
  • duration : The elapsed time on the reading page
     

Sharing of your information

We do not share any information with third parties

Data deletion

Anonymously collected data (telemetry) is deleted from our servers after a one-year period. Since these data are entirely anonymous, it is impossible to re-associate them with the user who generated them.

 

The retention of data related to administrator accounts is described in the general terms and conditions of the Blindsee service.

Protection of children under 13 years old

We do not collect or retain information about children under 13 years old. Our applications, services, and websites are not intended for children under 13 years old. We encourage parents and legal guardians to play an active role in the online and mobile activities of the children in their care.
If you install Blindsee on your children’s devices, you must take full responsibility for the use of the software.

As Blindsee evolves, we are required to regularly update these rules. The most up-to-date version will always be located at https://blindsee.io/en/privacy-mobile-app-en.
